Acidosis is a condition that occurs when the acid levels in your body are too high.

There are many common symptoms of acidosis. Today we’ll cover five of them. If you experience any of these symptoms, then you may be at risk for several serious conditions and should consider alkalizing to balance your pH as soon as possible.

Symptom #1 – Acid reflux. Acid reflux is one of the most common conditions in the United States. As many as 60 million Americans suffer from acid reflux at least once every 30 days. The problem with acid reflux is that if it isn’t treated, it can cause very serious problems down the road, such as esophageal cancer (cancer of the esophagus).

Symptom #2 – Ulcers. Like acid reflux, stomach ulcers can become quite serious if left untreated. If you suffer from stomach ulcers, then it’s time to get your acidity in check!

Symptom #3 – Osteoporosis. In one study, women with chronic acidosis were shown to be at greater risk for osteoporosis than women with normal pH levels. Osteoporosis may be a sign that your acidity levels are too high.

Symptom #4 – Mood problems. Whether it’s depression or general irritability, your apparent moodiness may be linked to high acidity in your body. If you’re down in the dumps or find yourself irritable or grumpy, then acid may indeed be to blame.

Symptom #5 – Low energy and Fatigue. Your body operates best when your pH is balance. When your acidity is too high, your body must work harder to do the things that keep you going. This can result in fatigue. If you are low on energy or experiencing fatigue, then you should consider alkalizing as a possible remedy to your energy problems.

If you know what to look for and are willing to take action, you can protect your health and change your lifestyle before any serious damage is done.
